Privacy policy
Effective 16 September 2026
Rulehunt is made by Süleyman Özdemirci ("we"). This policy describes what the app does with data. The short version: there is no account, no advertising, no analytics service, and no data is sold or shared with third parties.
What stays on your device
Your progress — solved boards, recorded rules, streaks, settings and purchase state — is stored only on your device (and in your own iCloud device backup, if you use one). We cannot see it.
What leaves your device
Daily leaderboard. When you finish a ranked daily board, the app sends that day's result (time, wrong names, whether the rule was named) together with a random identifier generated on your device. The identifier is not linked to your name, email, Apple ID or any other account and cannot be used to identify you. Results are kept for 45 days and then deleted. Nothing is sent for unranked boards.
Purchases. The Full Game is a one-time purchase handled entirely by Apple's App Store. We receive no payment details.
Crash and diagnostic data. Only what Apple collects under your iOS settings, shared with us in aggregate if you have opted in with Apple.
What we do not do
- No advertising, tracking or third-party analytics SDKs.
- No account, email or password.
- No selling, renting or sharing of data.
Children
The app collects no personal information from anyone, including children.
Your choices
You can reset all local progress from Settings → Start over. The leaderboard identifier is regenerated when you do, and old results expire on their own within 45 days.
